Haven't seen this posted but definitely an interesting read... the video is jumpy as anything but is absolutely brilliant at points, personal highlight is at around 3.40 when someone from the audience comes on stage and puts a cardboard box on Flicker's head. No wonder he didn't last!

That video's on the GT boxset DVD I think, or something around that era

Haha that's funny to watch. I know there's some of that footage in the No Manifesto film.

Pretty sure I saw something on Twitter the other day and it’s an interview with James.

The new cue has a mini interview with nicky about the duets playlist, some new and interesting info contained within!

I’ve got to say, it’s come to something when assembling a playlist on Spotify is considered a release.

Ok, well. Just thought it was another Manics track. Do love 4 Lonely Roads. But glad was horizontal when I read it was Nicky on the drums! Recorded over several tracks. But yeah. Will never hear the same way again.

Thanks for the link, interesting short read, - I can just picture Nick literally recording each hit of each drum - one by one lol - did make me chuckle!

Scroll down the page and if you zoom and squint (and some) then you can read the entire interview with James.

Thanks for that!

As a wolves fan I’m delighted to know James still has his wolves scarf

Thanks for the tip ! I'd never pick up a football magazine so would've missed it - "bit of a football tourist" so it's not just girls that follow teams because they like the players then ?

I went to wolves uni last century so the bit about the wolves scarf made me smile. Took an interest in the team back then but you know cos I was " just a girl " then got laughed at

Haven't seen this posted before, but a few interesting tidbits from James about his approach to writing and general guitar playing:

Hadn’t seen that before either. Nice interesting little interview.

And it made much more sense than the first link you posted
