Would've thought those strings in Design would be considered a bit bland or summatt.............................

Yeah, the popular opinion that has Michael Bubbleface at No 1 I expect. Such musical virtuosity there!
Put out a poor son as a single and it'll get shot down. It's dull and that scouse monotone does nothing to help.

to be fair he hasnt got a voice that will appeal to the mainstream and to get in the top 10 you need to appeal to either da kidz or the coffee table brigade

Bloody shame it didn't get top 40 though, it's so much better than a lot of the dross that is in the top 10 and 20!
