This is not just Oh my god I heard the Manics on the telly but Oh my god I was on it as well! I was interviewed last month about the Manic Millennium for a doc about Millennium night in Wales and it’s on iPlayer now! It’s called Epic - Party like it’s 1999 and it’s at the link below if you want to see me looking somewhat bewildered as I try to talk about stuff that happened 20 years ago. They made me take off my glasses so I couldn’t see a thing and it was a bit bamboozling!

They also interviewed a guy who lost his ticket to the concert, and lots of other non-Manic related people. It’s pretty good for a bit of nostalgia even without the Manics element!

Christ, can't believe it's 20 years since the Manic Millennium. They went quick. Have so many memories of those few days in Cardiff.

I had a flick through that video, nice to see the Manics get mentioned in it and you had some screen time yourself Wonder why they made you take off your glasses for the interview? I watched a bit of the gig on dvd last night as it's my tradition.

NO IDEA how I spotted this when it was on, but the young girl featured on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces this evening had a framed setlist on one of the walls in the background of the finished build. Recent set, it started with Motorcycle and International Blue, also featured their cover of Inbetween Days.

Not strictly ON the telly, but the young Manics stayed for a while in the Outnumbered house!
