it's an amazing album, every song fits into place.

Everything Fades is one of the most beautiful songs ever and Goodbye Suicide should be made into a full rock epic and put on the next Manics album.

I love it. It's imperfect, he's not a very good singer, but it's just fabulous. It's like something you want to keep secret, I want to lie in my bed with slippers on and tea and listen to it turned low before I go to sleep. It's very comforting even though some of the lyrics seem very sad to me. It also seems like a statement of intent, a "this is me and if you don't like it you can blow me." It's a big hug of a record.

That's exactly what I feel! His voice is warm and fuzzy even if the lyrics aren't.

Aye, exactly. I kinda get this sense of affection from it, from him as well as for him. I dunno, it's kinda hard to explain what I mean. I makes me feel all warm and fluffy anyway. And it's lots of fun as well as having the sad bits. It's very Nicky, it's exactly what I'd want from him, really.
