Voted for Past, Present and Future. Best setlists and best memories around the gigs. Brilliant few days between Derby and Wolverhampton, wish I'd gone to more.

Journal For Plague Lovers.
Largely because they played as a three piece only with no outside interference. They sound much much better when they do that. |

LB tour. The only time I've done more than one date, Nicky wore the tie I made him and I met my husband for the first time.

I was going to say PPF but SATT Summer just edges it, I met Roger Moore's son.

I think the two I went to are the only ones not in S&V from that tour? That's unlucky... Still, I always seem to miss the special stuff. Like, they did Revol and 4st 7lb a few times that tour, missed em. Ready For Drowning, She Is Suffering, Forever Delayed on the SATT tours, missed them.. Hopefully by doing 10 I should see a few of the less regular tracks this time...

I think it's the KYE tour in 2001 for me too, just because it was the first time I saw them and I was incredibly excited. I don't remember much about the PPF tour, which is a shame as everyone remembers it as being awesome...I think I was just a bit out of it. Lifeblood was really disappointing, especially as I love the album. I seem to remember something rare being played at the Forum for the SATT tour which was quite exciting, but I can't remember what Finally, in this conjunctionless drivel, I rather enjoyed the JFPL gigs. Hurrah. |

Fond memories of each tour I've been to. PP&F was a pretty special few days for me though. The two gigs I attended (Derby and Wolverhampton) sandwiched one of the biggest drinking binges in history. Somehow, sculptureofabloke and myself lived to tell the tale.
I also definitely disagree with James' statement about the first being the best. Really enjoyed that night, especially considering I'd missed several chances to see them before that, but it isn't even my top ten Manics gigs. Edit: Oh, thought I'd mention that I really enjoyed the Lifeblood tour. No idea why it gets slated. Last edited by Scarecrow; 17-08-2010 at 23:13. |

James' first gig was Echo & The Bunnymen. Understandable why it remains his fave. Lucky sod! Missed the chance to see the Bunnymen at Wolves.
