Some hilarious posts on there. It's nice to read. Some people wrongly assume a manics gig to be a very serious gig - it's good to see they can do comedy as good as anyone else. Admittedly the comedy is often completely accidental though!

That's a good one indeed. I still like it as it's classics manics period and a great song. Plus as Richey is there, obviously. I have seen it a couple of times on MTV classic over the last month or two

As said elsewhere, the Kettering wheelchair.

Nicky smashing his bass at any gig post T In The Park 1999 is unintentionally hilarious.

Fucking up the bassline of Faster at Aston Villa back in 96/97 and pissing himself.

I really wish I'd been at Blackpool in 96/97 when he fell flat on his face, though.

I think Sean flashing everyone when he was wearing a kilt has to be included in this.

Yeah, he's got a weird phobia of musical errors.

Just thought of one - Sean signing the sleeve of someone's shirt after a gig, looking at it after he'd finished and, completely deadpan, looking her in the eye and saying 'sleeve notes.'

Geddit?

Kettering wheelchair - I was there and it genuinely was the most surreal thing you'll ever see!

JFPL tour, Wolverhampton. Nicky forgetting the words to WLWs and singing 'I've only sang the wrong words, you stupid fucking idiot' instead

Also, my mate told me that on the Great Western Manchester date (I was out of the country so couldnt go) JDB announced 'And now Archives Of Pain' and launched into Run Romeo Run instead as a piss take

Eventually, although he did apparently glare at her a bit when he said it, so she was a bit freaked out at first.
