His username on the Aberdeen Music forums was HummerOfIntenseEvil. I think he was amazed that I could remember some of the letters that he had written!

ATM: I Know the Numbers: His voice is fantastic and you feel the sorrow in the lyrics. |

Whether you like the song or not his vocals on The Everlasting are beautiful.

*Massive thumbs up*
As has been said, Lifeblood has great vocals. Possibly the best, if you're looking for a mellow singer. |

Agreed.
Plus these ones: Small Black Flowers That Grow in the Sky -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19N9H1JXvko -- Love his vocals here. "Bright Eyes", this one -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6amm_PUjJ_k -- I really like this! "Ready for Drowning" with John Cale -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJ3vPyumqX4 -- might be too 'shouty' for some, but I really like this as well. I like pretty much everything he sings. ![]()

Another Scottish vote for 4st 7lbs!
This was the first MSP song I 'owned', via a free CD from Q Magazine when THB was new, so I may be biased... in fact, nah, it's the best James vocal ever. And I always like to point out that he sounds just like Freddie Mercury on "wanna walk in THA SNOW!". He really does. |
