I won't feel silly in my coat but any glitter / feather boas etc might be a bit far, especially as I have to get the train up

Hmm, possibly. I was thinking he was gonna print out all the O2 threads and make some kind of suit, I'd probably end up with my name on his balls or something.

I would leave the feather boa at home (they're incredibly irritating in a gig anyway - hot, itchy, and with a tendancy to dye your neck), and then do your make-up in the queue? I've got trains to/from Manics gigs loads of times, usually looking utterly ridiculous, and it's always been fine.

see this is it, i keep thinking of it as a christmas party, so I'm reckoning a bit glam? More so than a usual gig anyway. heels don't go well for a gig unless you're drunk from the very start though, so i have no idea what I'm going to wear. especially as it looks like I could be missing my staff do for this, so this will be my only xmas party this year. how sad.I'll probably just fire on a bit of leopard-print, although how dressy do you go, as i do have a nice dress, but i think it's more suited to a night on the tiles!

hmmm these are very difficult decisions. this is how i spend my time at work. Thinking about the important things...
