How do HMV signings usually work now? In the past I've had to turn up early to buy the CD/get a wristband and then go back later.

yea that's how the last one i went to in november worked. I wanna go but the pessimist in me is thinking i'll get there and there'll be no wristbands left.

When i've been to Cardiff HMV signings before there were no wristbands involved. it was just a case of turn up, buy your product and then line up outside. Probably changed since last year though. x

Yep there was no wristband at the HMV signing I went to either, but I guess it depends on the event.

I asked at the Manchester HMV earlier. They said to get wristbands in the morning of the signing, one per person, first come first served. However, they also said to ask a few days in advance to double check. I'll be there, queuing early.

As so that's pretty much confirmed then, guess I'll get the day booked off. Dunno if I can be arsed to spend all day standing on Market Street though

I swear the same tramp has been in the same place by the Costa on the corner every day since I moved up here. Oh well for one day it we shall all be the Market Street Preachers
