i have no idea where it is in my collection, but i am convinced i dl'ed what was supposed to be the full tracklisting, and the b-sides were heavily cleaned up recordings from one of those acoustic sets that JDB around the time of FD / LT?
i remember this because i had the audience recording of it as well, and there was a big massive "DUUUUUUUNNNNNNGG" where he twatted the wrong string or something on Faster (my apologies for not knowing the correct terms), yet it was magically gone on the polished, to be released version. or did the cleaned up versions turn up on a different release and old age is confusing me once again?

I have this. If I recall, it was released in Germany, around the time of the FD compilation album.

Any details on the cover etc or is it the purple-y one that's been mentioned?

I've not listened to this since this single was released and had long forgotten about it.

Have the purple German single and can confirm it's the original version on that copy. To my knowledge this only turned up on a promo CD and was never officially released.
Still trying to hunt down the Motorcycle Empitiness release with the acoustic version of Faster (minus strings).

Cheers guys and girls, this has been a great help. A mate who I think has it confirmed it's the German one too with the same purple cover.

Yeah, think the mix is only on a Japanese promo that every now and again gets listed somewhere for £100 for some reason. Lost my mp3 of it though, oops.

Thanks for this.
2002-2003 was a weird time to be a Manics fan. |

Was the 2003 version ever released? If they did the FD and LT after 1998 their outlook on their worth and value in music would be more assured than FD and LT on the back of KYE slaggings in media.

Better than the original album version, but that's not saying much. It's still not better than the dozens of live versions floating out there.
