I got the same emaiil. Maybe they're awaiting stock of the MJ vinyl, doubt it though. Standing tickets to the 02 show to compensate perhaps?

Did you check out the link I provided? Sony always fucks these boxes up by doing them on the cheap. You should be grateful they decided to act before the flood of complaints came in this time. It'll still be a load of badly glued together newspaper CD sleeves, but they'll have removed the glue residue from the actual CDs this time so they're playable. Very thoughtful.

i am borrowing some info from here for another blog rant, shall credit as best i can.

meanwhile, the official site for the Complete Shambles Box Set is quite interesting at the moment - it features a full tracklisting......for the 2 CD set! if that's the "unforseen circumstances" that is even better than usual from Sony

Not your blog...it was an interesting read with some things about that Miles Davis box, but pretty much everything with Sony. Not a dig at you at all!
