I've thought of someone I want to tweet and ask them what they think of the Manics cover version of their song. I'm not gonna tell you who it is just yet but I'll let you know if they reply!

dear Yoko, yeah, everyone misses your husband and that, but surely you must see and hear how the Manic Street Preachers version of Working Class Hero shits over the Lennon original? i know it's mean to pick on that as everything on the album Send Away The Tigers shits over everything he did (sorry to be truthful) but i think the cover version just proves the point.

For me Working Class Hero is the worst song of SATT, but to be honest I do not like Lennon's songs (and yes, including the Beatles' catalogue)
