GANGNAM STYLE!

With James' bad skills in foreign languages.

Hmm, I can see them covering Lady Gaga's You and I. Just sayin'. And I don't know anything about James's bad foreign language skills? But I would pay serious money to see him dancing (and singing) Gangnam style!

Eheheh, great photo, really fits.

Actually, I can see them cover Poker Face as well, for the Lady Gaga part.

And, well, maybe James got better at foreign languages now, but take a look at La Tristesse (supposed to be French, but he mixes it up with Spanish (?) in his pronounciation) or The Intense Humming of Evil and that "arbeit mach frei" line in German....

One other song I have thought of that I think would be technically amazing to hear them rework.

Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits

Somehow I can't see James's voice suiting that one, and even if they were to re-work it, that pretty much takes away the whole minimalist element which is kind of the whole essence of the song. Would feel slightly pointless for me.

Just thinking about Nicky' bass work and possible heavier drums.

Livin Joy - Dreamer.

It might not have much in common with the Manics at first glance, but it does have one of those "let's throw everything at the kitchen sink whilst breaking the speed of sound" Holy Bible choruses

Smile

This, for the sheer whatthefuckery (though it's more sensible than most of KYE's lyrics!)
