Guys, if you can, ask a friend on o2 for their presale link, I've used a friend's before with no problems. And remember there's People on here that eventually wont be able to make it and if they advertise on FD you'll get the tickets face value.

They did that at Wimbledon last week. Anyone who bought their tickets on Viagogo was refused entry, and rightly so!

I don't know why it isn't made illegal. It is in Sweden. Completely unfair on fans.

The problem then is you're punishing the fans who want to go and couldn't get tickets, not the touts who took the chance away for profit.

I honestly can't see any reason for it not to be, I don't get it.

Well surprise, surprise, and I bet they have followed the band for years and just happened to get an extra ticket by mistake and are now selling it. Oooops!!!!!

Something has definitely got to be done about this. I have followed the band for years, seen them over 30 times and yet today cant get a fans pre-sale via their own website link that I got via a personalised email.

I really hope one of the band are on here today and gets how totally and utterly disappointed some of us are, and frustrated that we cant get tickets. Many of us cant afford multiple tour dates and only wanted one venue. When you add up ticket prices, transport and possible staying over it makes it really expensive.

We love you guys and are a dedicated and passionate fanbase but this stinks. I don't want to pay massively over the odds, I simply cant afford it, I'd love to but I cant. But I love the Manics and have never missed a UK tour since EMG. This might be the first and it breaks my heart.

Come on Manics and their management, please get some better more legitimate way of offering real fans pre-sale.

You're right to be pissed off with the re-selling sites, they really need to be wiped out, but don't forget that there'll be tickets available on Friday. By the sounds of it only a tiny amount were made available today, there'll be much more tickets available on Friday, don't despair just yet.

I've just checked out Viagogo and the tickets range from the cheapest at £60 each and up to £125. With this you have to pay a booking fee of £37.50 (which is more than the face value of a single ticket) and £9.95 shipping fee plus VAT on top.

That's over £300 for a gig for 2 people. Outrageous, just outrageous.

Thanks hun, you're a sweetheart, I know I shouldn't stress but I can't stand the injustice of it all.....

I'll be on the link on Friday morning so keep your fingers crossed for me x

This pre-sale has been a fuck-up... the link sent out in the email was NEVER live and I spent about five minutes pissing about trying to get through on that before realising there was another link on the Manics website. No joy on that, although others managed to get tickets for several venues without problem. Dogshit.

Yeah seriously what was the point of them sending out an e-mail with a duff link and then posting a different one on their website? I'd like to say I'm surprised, but I'm not.

Please don't panic just yet anyone and for god's sake don't buy any on sites like Viagogo when there will be plenty more available at face value on Friday. I imagine the pre-sale allocations were very small in the first place.

I just spent 2 hours trying to get tickets, and eventually used my mum's 02 phone to get tickets through 02 Priority.

I've noticed that the only way I was able to get London tickets was by purchasing one at a time.

Even more annoying is the fact that they are available at extortionate prices on Ticketmaster's "Getmein" site... infuriating that the company selling these tickets actively encourages touting!

The link on the email wasn't duff, it was different so that they can track who clicks on the links and who doesn't, but it still worked.

Not for me it didn't, and I was trying it on two laptops and an ipad from 9.25am on.... just kept saying "the page you requested could not be found" - which is exactly what it says now.

Bollocks! This totally slipped my mind. Oh well just have to be quick on the draw on Friday.

I wouldn't mind a sit down in London. It's a shame they've gone for Newport Centre again for a Welsh date. This album sounds like it should have Millenium Centre written all over it.

Same. It had all the links last night when I checked but this morning said page couldn't be found. James (MSPKYE) had the same thing too and we could only access the live links through the Manics website. I tried on my work computer and iPhone as well.
