As soon as I heard the Nicky Wire vocal in the chorus of Futurology I turned it off. His voice is one of the worst things ever.

Walk Me to the Bridge is...strangely compelling. I'm intrigued.

I have no problem with the Manics doing duets if the songs themselves are strong. I love Rewind the Film and This Sullen Welsh Heart, and Nina Hoss sounds great on Europa. However, I find 4 Lonely Roads musically one of the weakest tracks on RTF and don't like the way Cate Le Bon's vocals are mixed...you can barely tell what she's singing.

I really love Rewind the Film but it doesn't feel like a Manics song to me.Not a bad thing but it just sounds quite strange in a Manics album. The demo version of This Sullen Welsh Heart is my fav track of the album and I think the way Lucy Rose sings on it not only didn't add anything but it ruined the song as well. And well, musically 4LR is really weak and Cate le Bon's voice makes it even worse.
Can't say anything about Europa until I listen to it properly.
