Yeah... funny story. I was there and er... went outside for a ciggy.
I could hear the crowd singing along so it was more a duet with Ian and the rabble!
And outside I got talking to someone and then there was this massive sound and I thought "Ah... I'm 'Faster'... arse." But to be fair, I was gasping and did promise myself I'd at least stay for one acoustic song. So nicorette patches or give up for the next time they tour nearby then.

They clearly hadn't practiced when they got Bernard Butler to guest on guitar. No surprise Nicky didn't love that one.

Charlotte Church, on the other hand, was AMAZING. You've got to love that for all the wrong reasons.

Nina live with them was fine. Bad ones were Charlotte Church and Kylie Minogue.

oh God

who remembers Cerys Matthews at the NME Big Gig? And Tom from The Enemy? He played something with them, didn't he?

John Cale on Ready for Drowning was pretty stunning but it was more Cale's project.

something absolutely awesome - JDB & KT Tunstall 'Fairytale of New York' previous Christmas, although JDB forgot the lyrics and KT was much much better.

AND OBVIOUSLY JDB AND DAME SHIRLEY AT PROMS!! BEST. THING. EVER.

poor memory, Wire. I love you still.

I'd like to give an honourable mention to the duet with Sophie Ellis Bextor before she was Sophie Ellis Bextor. Black Holes For the Young is a nice wee tune and was planned as an album track before being left off TIMT. It's the best B-sides era in my humble opinion.

we're talking on live collaborations. I can't recall SEB playing live with them.

or am I having holes in my memory?
