£92 for two tickets. The tickets themselves were only £39.50 each though.

Hahaha

Basically, Manics always use SJM and they have contracts to use Ticketmaster and See Tickets (under the name gigsandtours) only. Believe me, we're trying to get some to sell which would make life WAY more easier for fans (especially me) but thats the way it will be for the forseeable future.

Got mine for Friday London no problem, but given the cost, I doubt I'll try for any other dates. Shame really, it's nice to go to a Manics gig and know you'll get something a bit different from the hits.

If they put a bit of thought in to this, they could really make it special - not just 'Full album, interval, hits' - build a setlist around the album, sequence it with other songs that complement the album, add a couple of the b-sides and order it accordingly - kick off with Prologue, end with Tolerate. Born a Girl goes in the solo spot, that kind of thing. Or end with all 3 songs from the Masses single. So many ways to shake it up, please at least consider this!

Just like last time I did not get a presale code. Apparently US fans can’t buy pre-sale. Very annoying. They sold me the deluxe autographed set no problem.

Are tickets for London general admission or is it a seated venue?

Yep, me too. Just short of fifty quid for a single ticket, ouch!!

Softened by the fact they are playing fifteen minutes away from my house.*

I think postage options depended on the venue. For York I was only offered secure delivery at £5.95, but for Manchester I got free print at home tickets.

London was print at home for £2.25 or posted for £2.95. I refuse to be charged to print them myself, so I went for posted tickets!

This whole ticketing system has turned in to the hugest racket. Really needs a proper investigation from a watchdog which can enforce changes.
