James Dean Bradfield is a huge fan of Coronation Street and has turned his lounge into his very own version of the Rover's Return. You aren't allowed in unless you talk in a mildly Mancunian accent. Due to his inability to do this, Nicky has never been to James's house.

James can't play guitar.
Richey was the riff meister, but thought he would be too cool with being the focal point and lyricist, so pretended not to be able to play live.
This is why there are no epic solos in Manic's music anymore. James got taught all the early songs by Richey inc. solos to convince us all of James widdling abilities and Richey's lack of widdle-ability!

Sean played the original saxophone solo on Take That's early 90's hit, A Million Love Songs.

James was so jealous of this solo success that he offered to play guitar for Boyzone, but they were unresponsive.
