Yeah, he was there, we spoke to him. Ever such a nice guy! I'm actually quite smitten!

I didn't really say much to the band other than thank you and asking James for a photo, but eye contact and a smile from Bradders does me just fine

I didn't realise the books were going to be available until today and on the way out I couldn't see any left where there had been a big stack of them earlier in the afternoon.

It was nice to briefly say hello to relic in the queue too; glad you decided to go in the end!

Aye, and I'm glad I did, I enjoyed talking to people in the queue, and even though I only got about twenty seconds with the band, they were so lovely. I even managed to get Nicky to sign the book 'To Relic'.

The Velindre printout went to James, he seemed to know what I was on about when I gave it to him, and he said it was very thoughtful and that he'd look at it later.

Especially since they've not existed since 1996.

Went to the Manc signing earlier. God knows why I took a day off work today - just ended up wasting a whole day meandering round town and occasionally popping into HMV to listen to Manics songs! At one point I could actually stand and listen to Revol, TITD and La Tristesse simulatenously. After a bit more wandering, returned to be greeted by Franny who for the second time this month explained to me what I was meant to be doing - what would I do without you? Whiled away the time in the queue watching the DVD on the TVs they had and looking at the album and polaroid book.

Big THANK YOU (yes, I'm shouting) to Fran for taking this pic for me. Promise I'll do the honours next time!

Also a few random other pics on my flickr .

Think Franny may have the record for engaging Sean on longest conversation ever - something to do with a drum machine? Oh and I gave James an early Christmas card I made and he bloody folded the thing in half and shoved it in his pocket!! Did say thanks tho (note to self, make future Crimbo cards pocket sized)

Thanks Mike

Oh and Relic I think Fran introduced me to you in the queue, but using real life names so I didn't realise! Nice to meet you!
