you'd need to clear your schedule for about a month to use the roundhouse cloakroom.

I was going to hand my coat in on the 16th as i wasn't queuing but when i saw the queue to get them back the night before, no way.. i'd probably miss my last tube. I just wore a thinner coat easier to wrap around my waist

I got to the front of a massive cloakroom queue in 10 mins but that's my own fault for sauntering over at 8:40

As for the reverse - I always get my coat during A Design for Life (or watch same from the back of the room)

Considering I'm thin and make an effort to strap my bag in so it doesn't bounce in peoples faces I find your comment overly aggressive. Do you complain about tall people for not being more considerate to short people behind them... Again my tightly strapped bag is softer than someone elses head or back in a mosh pit and has no effect to people who are not moshing behind me which is usually my case. I'm also rediculously thin so even with my bag I take up less room than a considerable amount of the crowd....and if you're in a mosh pit, a soft bag is the least of your concerns. I'm not talking about huge rucksakes (I wasn't at the roundhouse) but the normal kind that are usually pack with jackets and jumpers.

That's what I love about fandom you can't even wear a bag without being look down upon...

It really doesn't matter how thin you are, if you're in or near the front or the mosh and you're wearing a ruck sack of any size, you need to take it off, however tightly it's strapped to you.

I don't have a 'bag phobia' but being constantly jostled by someone's bag at a gig is at best, annoying and at worst, dangerous. I've asked people to take their bags off at gigs, they've all complied politely. The reason you may not understand why others have a problem when you're wearing it is that you can't feel when it hits someone.

I'd rather be hit by someone's hand or pushed into their back, they can feel it and can adjust themselves. I've been hit in the head with a fist and then had them rub my head to say sorry.

Don't feel that anyone is looking down on you Routine Builder, we're just explaining why we don't like bags on backs at gigs.

exactly, besides the coats hanged over the barriers are a perfect cushion for my chin. I learned it a hard way - read: blood, split chin - during one of the festivals. The more layers the better.

re: rucksack thing, must be fucking nasty. I usually bring one bag, it fits nicely between my legs and the barriers.

Hardly aggressive, you were the one implying people had some kind of phobia. My post was pretty polite, I'm sorry you have a chip about the bag and assume it's everyone else who are in the wrong for not wanting a bag in their face.
