My LP arrived today...and it was signed. Nice to see that rectified quickly and properly!

My copy arrived this week. I ordered just the CD book. I received the CD/book plus the LP and signed insert. I might give the LP away in a few weeks.

Well, I finally received the signed LP (ordered the CD and LP, but like with everyone else, was initially only shipped the CD).
And it's all fucked up!
The signatures are nice, and the vinyl sounds alright (still pretty compressed, but not as bad as the CD), but 3 corners of the outer sleeve are squashed/bent to hell, almost to the point of tearing apart.
There was no such damage to the packaging, so it must have happened beforehand - maybe the band members squashed it as they were signing it!
Regardless, I'm pretty pissed. When I pay this much for a new item, I should get something close to mint, not something that looks like it was trampled on by horses.

Aw, that really sucks, how frustrating. I hope they respond well (assuming you are going to let them know what happened... again... ).

My signed insert is almost perfectly flat again! It got a bit dog-eared/folded in the package when it arrived but it’s been sat in a shelf with heavy items on it for a while. Sounds like I got lucky as everything else was mint, and included, first time.

Well it's by all accounts the same company doing Even in Exile, so I in a few weeks we'll see how that goes

I only bought the box. It's still for sale, but can I have some long sleeved top reviews, if you would?
Are you still wearing it? How warm or thin is the fabric? And like I'd know, but what's the quality like?

One of the reasons I preordered elsewhere, to be honest (plus cheaper).

Although I just realized that means I miss out on the demos ugh

I know it said A4 sized, for some reason my brain pictured smaller book, so when the actual A4 size came through this morn, I was delighted

Love the b sides of this era.

TokyoSkyline above, I have nothing at all signed by the lads, 'onegaishimasu' IF you find it in heart to consider sending me your spare for the album that got me into them, eternally grateful I would be - domo arigatou gozaimashita!
If you want my spare signed sleeve drop me a PM with your name/address and i'll send it on...

The book still smells gorgeous and in all this time I've had it, I'm just now ripping it to my PS3. (Only just ripped EIE preferring the spaces that happen between the tracks)
So that's Patrick Bateman added to a few playlists!

Has the price on this gone down yet? Should probably get a copy at some point.

I'm not bothered about one day finding it cheaper. You'll the never getting hold of it sooner.
Even if it does seem like bringing an antique grandfather clock to a WWII shelter.
What doesn't seem like that these days?!

It's not an album I listen to that often, I have some of the b-sides on Lipstick Traces and the photo book I'll probably look at one or two times (never been one for band photos really) so it's not something I can justify spending £40 on... but at the same time I like having deluxe editions largely for the ease of listening and having it all in one place, so I do want to get it eventually...
