They reckoned my JFPL wa sent but could have been sent to the wrong address as they had me down as No. 17 instead of 127. I went down to 17 about 3 times but he reckoned he had'nt received it.

It's bad that they haven't done anything more about that Sue. It's their error if they've sent it to the wrong address!

I think a petition is on the cards. Townsend sends Gutless another bundle or we'll organise an FD boycott of the site.

By show of hands, who here got their stuff within three working days of paying, and who got theirs outwith 3 days, or never at all? Those who're waiting longer, what excuse did Townsend give you?

If Gutless was due to have JDB delivered and he failed to turn up then I'm sure she would put more effort in to retrieve him

That's the *extremely* limited edition bundle. Free acoustic performance of Autumnsong in your living room with every purchase. Don't think it sold too well though.

Come on, this is bollocks. If you've paid for something and you haven't received it after this amount of time, they either need to refund you or send another copy.

And you can't be saying things like it's Royal Mail's fault. Bottom line, it's Townsend's responsbility to you as a customer.

For the record, I've never had a problem with either Townsend or Recordstore as the official Manics outlet. Everything's come on the Saturday before release, but there are stories similar to this every single time.

Yeah come on Gutless, you're a Manics fan, it's time to get angry, this is unacceptable.

I received my PFAYM 6 days after paying though the other two were fine, I'd be happy to boycott.

Don't be gutless, Gutless, and get on Townsend's case immediately. Royal Mail or Townsend won't do you any favours so you need to play their game and get your stuff!

I'm an international person. I pre-ordered around Feb. 17 and my package was shipped March 15 (the 'ran out of vinyl issue'). I got my package within 7 or 8 mailing days.

If Townsend have sent it you and Royal Mail have lost it in transit it is up to Townsend not you to pursue the matter with them as they are the issuing party.

At the very least they should have obtained a proof of postage when sending it and that should cover the cost of the items and their refund to you.

I get this occasionally with my games rental place. Items go missing on their way to me, they wait 15 days to see if it turns up and then issue me with a form so they can start the formal process to get compensation from Royal Mail.

Have you spoken to Consumer Direct about this matter?
