It's just had a pretty good reaction on Kerrang! Radio's 'Hot or Not'

Just thinking it reminds me a bit of ELO's Summer And Lightning which I love so all good!

Listening to it again, the intro has a real 'Boston' feel to it.

Yeah, it's growing on me.

I've just played it to Ade for the first time, he was lying on the landing floor doing some exercises when I typed that comment about Boston, there was no way he could have seen what I typed, and he said "I really like it, don't you think it sounds a bit 'Boston'.

Either it really does sound like Boston, or we've been married too long.

Not to mention I live To Fall Asleep. Now that is lazy. It even has the line 'so lazy lazy lazy'. Although maybe saying it three times discounts it from being lazy. Does lazy cubed = moderate effort I wonder?

Anyway, I am also liking INWJTEOL more with each listen, and the NME comments about some of the other tracks has me quite optimistic for the album.

I've listened to it numerous times now and I just can't decide whether I like it or not. I'm kind of hoping that it will be like Lifeblood in that one day I'll listen to it and it will just click, I'll fall in love with it and want to listen to it on continuous repeat. As for now although I've found myself walking around whistling it I don't really feel compelled to add it to playlists. It doesn't give the same feeling other Manics' songs do.

He! He! It may even be beginning to creep past Autumnsong ever so slightly for me!

I really need to stop listening now, I'll hate it by tour time otherwise...

It's incredibly addictive though Hanna! My 3 listens only has gone out of the window!

I...like Autumnsong, but it really needs to fuck off out of the setlist for a bit, preferably dragging Little Baby Nothing with it, I mean wtf is that still doing there after playing it for three years solid??? I used to like it too.

He! He! I doubt I'll ever get to see them twice in the same year ever again (maybe, at a push!) so hearing them do the same songs night after night isn't a problem for me! I just wish we could have a week long concert, or longer, where they played everything they've ever done. Imagine that!

Just listened to it again, first time since yesterday.

It's light, poppy, and is what it is. I still think it sounds like it needs a little breathing space through it, but I like it. I can see why people don't like it but it's a nice pleasant pop song.

Looking forward to the album now.
