it is fairly common these days to slip a download out unannounced ahead of starting promotion for the 'proper' releases further down the line; wouldn't surprise me if Amazon stick this in their Free MP3s section on Monday, as they've done for a number of returning artists over the last few years.

Well, it says on Amazon the duration of the song is 6:39 so hope fully at least 6 minutes of that will be James signing!!
Didn't like Hawley's voice there

Did like the intro music though so still feeling quite positive

Think people are just surprised by tis somewhat early release. But it's a good surprise!
Personally I wasn't impressed with Hawley's vocals but as I said still quite positive as the music sounded brilliant and I'm sure James' vocal will suit the lyrics

A nice surprise, can imagine it will be given away for free from the official site days after Monday.

I'm not listening to any snippet, so I'll wait for the full song to be available before my first listen.

Hopefully I can hold off from playing it too much before the album comes out. If we're talking around two months still, I may over play this.

Nah, the problem with the 'th' was never anything to do with the price... It just came off as careless production. And it was still present on the full, paid-for album anyway.
