It's not that bad.
Great work from BBC2 and 6. Maybe Manics'll realize how bad choice the first single was...

Well done Postcards on all counts, number eleven at least shows that it wasn't just all the mad fans buying it straight away, people are still buying it casually.

No 11 is really good! Pleased with that. Still don't understand why INW hasn't been given more attention from the masses. Ah well.

They need to get single number 2 on the radio asap to keep the album high up in the charts.

I hope the fact they're on a month long tour will get the casual Manics gig goers to go out and buy the album if they've not done so already. But I do agree a 2nd single will need to be put out to radio pretty soon, later this month maybe.

No it doesn't really, because it's actually the entire PFAYM album that's been playlisted according to Radio 2's website, meaning any song from it can be played! That's fucking great news in my view.... really good plug for the album.

I hope SKON first then Postcards but don't mind too much. Both are fab!

I still hope they'll change their mind and release Postcards and then Descent.

If they released The Descent it would fail to make top 40, simple as. Platitudes could make a late surge for single material

I like Postcards, but it's a pretty much by the numbers type manics track and i can't really see it making a big impact on the radio. Skon, on the other hand, could do well on radio.
I could be totally wrong though. Postcards the song, is a grower. |

Has to be either SKON or Postcards for the next single then maybe GP.

The Descent's a funny one... the band clearly like it and I've now had three casual/non Manics fans telling me what a good tune it is after hearing it on radio. Wouldn't be my choice though.
