The Manics really should have had VIP tickets.

I do obviously hate all football fans, that's exactly what I meant.

Alas, missed the pre-sale yesterday, will be getting a ticket for Newport tomorrow morning.

Last time Manics played there (2010 PFAYM tour), I got tickets quite easily, and I think I might have been working the day they came out back then.

Out of curiosity, how many (in terms of a percentage) of the tickets went in the Presale?

I know. Last few times I quite comfortably got tickets (although all the standing tickets went quickly for the National Treasures gig, but that was more an event), even on days I was working when they went on sale. One of the upsides of it no longer being 1997.

Except not really, given that, for example, Shepherd's Bush Empire has a capacity of 2,000

Me too, and a colleague - all of us trying to connect with a place via hyperspace which is literally across the road!

Tomorrow had better be a breeze or I'll be round there.

So I have London and Dublin sorted. Going for Newport and Manchester tomorrow. Glasgow will have to wait a week or so, by which time it'll probably be sold out. Urgh.

I'll be buying one London ticket tomorrow (for someone else) as I can buy two, anyone interested in trying/buying more than one venue let me know tonight.

Aw, glad I could help I would have posted the link earlier if I'd known people were having trouble, so silly for the mailing list to have sent out one link, have another on the site and then another again (I think?) from Ticketmaster... we're already panicky, we do not need this!

Really hope everyone gets the tickets they want tomorrow.

I think the matter is that there are very few dates, 3 years ago (Postcards Tour) the Manics did not even sell out Colston Hall or two nights at Brixton Academy. Newport (same venue) sold out probably because it was a Welsh gig. They did play same-sized venues, just far more dates.

Also they've had this long break. They toured in 2009 so 2010 aswell would've been too soon for casual fans
