It is a load of toss but remain calm when complaining. Dont get into an argument. Ask for a name as you want to write to them and write to trading standards.

You do have a 7 day cooling period with on line orders but would need to write to them requesting a refund and return to them in an unopened state. Really worth it considering the recorded postage cost? The cooling period starts from delivery not payment date

And they do have 28 days to deliver after payment taken. They have to wait 28 days to make a claim against royal mail.

I do think theyre waiting for WH Smiths returns

I'm pretty sure Q are releasing a Traveler's Japanese App special with their greatest hits written in sanscript on the back of bacon.
We can all come back and complain when they don't deliver that

But it's TJA's new 'pay to opt-out service' where they deliver the album to everyone who hasn't specifically paid them not to, they say it could make or break them financially.

My only issue with that is they actually have to attempt to dispatch items in the first place in order to blame the Royal Mail for it being lost in the post, but that doesn't seem to be the case at the moment. They've been telling people they'll 're-send' something that more than likely hasn't been sent in the first place.

If there is a problem with distribution/contractual obligations with WH Smiths etc, they should at least be up front about it instead of fobbing people off. I wouldn't blame anyone for attempting to get a refund purely for their terrible, terrible customer service.

When I saw you'd posted in here I thought "god, don't tell me one's got to Johannesburg quicker than one getting to Hull..."

Then I felt really silly for thinking that.

it would not have come as a total shock if the company had said "let's stock up on these by surface (sea) mail and ship all orders from Johannesburg to save on costs", would it?

those who go for the "pay to opt-out" idea are going to feel rather momentarily silly when they get shot. in the face.

it's a trap, i tell ya, do not opt out of this one.

Just got an email after for me to conduct a customer service survey for GreatMagazines.

Considering I haven't even got my magazine yet, I think I'll give them shitty feedback.
