Were these mentioned on twitter, or was I just not paying attention?

My Japanese Mate said Nicky has been quoted in a Japanese magazine saying "I have written a song called I miss Tokyo skyline". So perhaps that is also on the list?

How long have they been working on this album now? Bradders said a bit back they had about 20 songs already - I guess they'll maybe do a double album cos there's no point now in them doing 3 formats of a single and putting 5 b-sides on there cos it's a waste as hardly anybody will hear them. Hell, maybe they're still going for 70 tracks haha!

I'm guessing they won't have any single releases so just stick everything on there! Looking forward to hearing it all.

James did say they probably wouldn't do 70 tracks, as amazing as that would be hahaha. A double album would be great! Or if some of them don't make the final cut, just throw together an album with the others and release that like New Order did with their last album.

I can't see them doing two albums. Judging by the minimalism of the sound they're talking about, I'm hoping for a strong and solid 10 track album with a a few EPs/singles loaded with incredible B-sides.

Nah I think they're done with singles and This Is The Day was the last, it's not like they need to chase chart approval anymore. And think it'll be 15+ tracks going for their magnum opus, maybe a few special edition versions with extra tracks

I wouldn't be surprised if they did come up with a double album/two different albums. There's always been a certain kind of bombast related to this writing process (70 songs etc etc) and with the band talking a lot about how they feel like there's two sides to the recordings and how they seem to be confident about the large number of tracks they've recorded, releasing more than one disc's worth of material seems likely. Alternatively, a pre/post-album non-promotional EP or a limited edition bonus disc are other likely options, as that's how excess tracks these days tend to see the light of day.

Admittedly I'll be a bit miffed if they don't release singles. Sod any promotional aspect of them, I just like singles. Especially Manics ones. Release them just for me plz.
