Yeah, there weren't many and they'd have had high angle cameras etc. for a DVD

No idea if it was just for the screens, but seems likely. Not clear if it was being filmed or just streamed on the screens anyway.

I wouldn't have thought there was enough equipment for it to be for anything other than the big screens; there were only two cameras that I noticed on small running tracks at the front of the stage.

Good gig! My first in Wales.
Absolutely loved: Enola/Alone Faster SSI Masses Can't Take My Eyes Off You (Acoustic) Less liked: Life Becoming a Landslide Everything Must Go (acoustic) Let Robeson Sing The Welsh weather when attempting to sleep in a tent Quote when farting in the crowd after yet another appetizing hamburger: "They harvest what they have sown".

I was plagued with people farting around me at gigs last week! Were you following me around? It was especially bad at Suede!

Someone kept farting on the train home to Swansea after the gig in Cardiff.

Somebody smelt pretty rank on the Edinburgh to Aberdeen leg of my journey home, but I didn't make an issue of it as by that point on my journey I was so tired that I couldn't say for certain the smell wasn't coming from me.
Regards, Marwood.

As I wanted to get the Motown Junk 7"s and hope to get them back in one piece I thought I'd get to queue later than I normally would so I'd not be too far forward, and also hoped to avoid the crush of Wolves and the squeeze of other gigs. Having security wonder why on earth I had an empty box in my bag was worth it as I put the 7"s inside and only the bag got a little crush in the crowd.
Started off about 5th row from the front on Nicky's side, and then a bit further back as a group of three polite people decided to push in further forward without asking. Gradually got pushed to around 2nd/3rd row towards the middle of the gig but I had room to jump around and not feel a bit trapped for the first time in a while so it was more enjoyable than Wolves and I may aim for a similar row again. Apart from the odd push and some scary guy behind me going nuts for Suicide Is Painless, the crowd seemed fine to me, no trouble. Good performance from both bands, though I thought MSP sounded a bit better at Wolves. Enola/Alone was a bit flat for me at both shows - disappointing when it's a favourite getting a rare appearance. Enjoyed the cowbell on Slash N' Burn and thought it would be a platform for a Love Letter to the Future outing that will never happen. Some woman's singing behind me for large chunks of the show meant I didn't quite make out Reed's backing vocals so I can't comment on them, but he can stay there to do more cowbell. Was nice to see the lovely Contraries and helvissa, Harrijack, Rock Junkie, and brief meet of Franny and NasalScarecrow too.

Harrijack - were you at Dublin? I think I saw you when I was waiting for the boys after the gig cos I recognised you from some pics on here! I did smile but don't think you knew who I was. If it was even you! lol
