Jesus, I read that post about mixing all the O2 gig tracks and then he says no live album. Like already asked, why the bloody hell are you doing it then? I'm disappointed now. And yeah, they should have filmed the gig.

Obviously the tracks will be released via the net or as additional bonuses for future releases. They should just release it as a live album. They always make grand statements and then do the opposite anyway.

If they've got two new studio albums almost ready to go then a live album surely isn't top of their to-do list. Does anyone release proper live albums anymore? Releasing the tracks as downloads is more likely.

Some bands release each date of the tour in a website and one as a special release in physical formats(Im thinking of Pearl Jam and RHCP).

coldplay released a CD/DVD combo for their last tour, Blur's comeback tour in 2009? i think and the charlatans. There'll be other bands.

I wouldn't say downloads are more likely with the manics as they've never bothered before. The free downloads we've had has been just a handful
