if it is a choice between the two, then I'm choosing Suede. Partly because I already have tickets.

Well that was the BEST FUCKING GIG EVER. Free coffee in the queue, sheltered for most of it and from the moment we went in there were silver trays of beer and wine and the bar was free and the waiting staff kept bringing burgers and fried chicken and dips and smoked salmon crostinis and bruschetta to the barrier (piece of plastic rope) along with drink refills. I was quite pissed by the time the band came on but we had space to dance the whole set.

After the gig trays of CHOCOLATE BROWNIES were brought out for us. Every fucking gig should end with that.

Lovely setlist. No specifics about May...but was told it would clash if I had tickets for Suede.

James was chatty as hell. Utter delight to speak to him afterwards and to Wayne. I am going to be quite hungover in the morning I think.

Literally best gig ever.
WOW! Sounds perfect, glad you had fun!

Also, I'd love to hear them end with Masses. ADFL has become so tired as an end song for the past decade +

Wolves Civic in May, James please! There's a good man! Sounds like you all had an awesome night!

Ahh, I left too early for cake! Considering all the other food was meat, I should have stayed.

Also, I didn't see James come out, was he there the same time as Nicky and Sean? I left after those two got in the car and drove off.
Wish I'd seen James too!

What a fucking gig! Free booze & food (which I made good use of). The band were awesome! I took a truckload of photos, which I will upload tonight. I made a note of the setlist, which I managed to send to Manic Street Mania and they kindly re-tweeted. Thanks to being pissed before the band came onstage, I managed to cheer when James mentioned Wham!, yell for Seanus, heckle for "Sleepflower", yell "tune!" during the breif burst of "She Sells Sanctuary". I dread to hear the broadcast next week. I will cringe. Hello to all the lovely peeps I saw yesterday: Lindz, Sam, Amanda, Nicola, Dexter, Harrijack, Gina, Louise, Nic, Starry Night. Was lovely to see you all and have decent chats with you this time. Met the boys afterwards. Sean was soooo lovely. Nicky said it's all lies about them supporting Bon Jovi (why I had to then tell him I hate BJ). Waited for James and he was as lovely as always! Told him I loved the ending of YSTSFMH at Brixton and had to remind him what he said. Also mentioned that I loved the burst of Van Halen ("Ain' Talkin' 'Bout Love") which lead into "Motown Junk". I am incredibly knackered but incredibly happy, cos to top it all, I GOT A SETLIST!!!! Whcih James decided to sign twice.

Got 2nd row, really tight performance, highlights: Slash n Burn, My Little Empire, Roses and Enola.

After the gig met all three, Nicky denied the Bon Jovi shit, and said during the gig, 'see you again in may' these will just be a few gigs, James said they will rehearse in late April, Archives, Die in The Summertime etc....

Really nice to meet Louise Mitch again, she is like my Manic Mum lol.

nice to see everyone else too, and have a great natter with Lindz and meet Sam and Nicola properly too, it was soooooo fucking loud in there.
Hi Dex, it was lovely to meet you!

James came out not long after. I saw him by the Hard Rock Cafe shop talking to someone. He crossed the road and, had Dext not gone and got him, we would have missed him. THANK YOU DEXT!

Ahh never mind, perhaps another time
I hadn't eaten and my mum was getting impatient, so we rushed off to find somewhere selling food.

I agree. It's cool they played it, but from the recording it definitely sounded too slow.
