The PPF tour properly got me into The Delays. The rescheduled Glasgow gig on the Lifeblood tour got me into The Departure, quite glad really as if the gig hadn't been rescheduled I would have had to endure Razorlight and that fucking prick Johnny Borell.

Like GNR, Alice In Chains, PiL and Joy Division. I would imagine everyone who has started liking McCarthy since 1993 does so almost exclusively thanks to the Manics. I'm no exception.

No one actually! Knew about all the support acts and their influences well before I heard they liked them. The Clash was drummed into me from an early age and I've heard of all the support acts. The one band Manics did have supporting them that I wish had stuck around where Hope of the States oh well!

Guns N Roses Public Enemy Razorlight (they supported at MEN a few years ago!) McCarthy (really wish I hadn't bought that album... suitably unimpressed!) But then each of these bands have led on to other bands...
