You must! It's lovely. I got it for something like 4 quid on Amazon.

It's not bad, prefer it to James' album, but I don't really listen to it much. Except for Everything Fades, which IS a masterpiece.

I love both of them. I can never make up my mind which is better, they're both best in their own way.

I'd love a Sean solo album, but we've all got as much chance of pissing on the pope as ever seeing that happen.

Parker and I have a theory that Deerhoof, some weird trumpet based band, is Sean's solo effort. I don't have a link to it, ask her for it tonight. It's very Sean...

LOL. Oh bless, that'd be so cute if it was. I'll always hold out for the Sean Moore techno project though, till the day I die.

Listen to Plus 81 -- Trumpets!

I'm really not sure how we got 'Sean's solo album' from Deerhoof, though. I blame Caitlin, personally.

Yes an absolute masterpiece! I was having this discussion with my hubby the other day as he refuses to listen to it! Thing is he is a huge manics fan and I think he's really missing out ! It brilliant - and really should be recognised as a classic. I love James's album too but there is something very special and unique about Nicky's plus after seeing him at Hay you can't help but love it!!!!!! Bless x

i agree, id say james solo was better but thats because i love his playing and his voice but then nickys, the songs are in some ways better, theres more to them.

Both solos are good and both should have a follow up

I've just decided that The Shining Path must be one of the best songs of all time. I'm back into adoring this album again.
