Dw I went to plenty of gigs underage while in Melbourne. Most venues here are actually really really lax about IDs so just borrow a license/learners permit off someone who's over 18 and has some similar features to you (like the same haircut/colour, same eye colour). It doesn't matter if they pic on the card doesn't really look like you at all, as long as it has the faintest resemblance they'll usually let you in.

I might consider doing something like that because there's no way I'm going to let my age stop me from seeing the Manics, thanks for the advice

Wow that's amazing ! Yesterday my girlfriend told me they are rumored to be playing at Big Day Out and I told her they would never come here ! Now this happens.

So happy...I thought I'd never get to see them again when I left Wales. I'll be off to the Brisbane one. yay
