This Is My Truth, best album EVER.

It happens to be the best produced, best written, most interesting aural experience I've ever had whilst having personal "have to get through this," life memories, so it wins. Just beautiful, that's my favourite Manics era, peaceful, melodic, no dramatic depression songs just slow burn sadness.

THB, they've only really released one truly great, almost flawless album, and this is it.

Lifeblood, because they hate it!

GT is actually right up there as well, being my first Manics record...

+1.

THB is a great album but nowhere near their best, there are bands who do what the Manics tried to do on THB alot better. However, TIMT is the most unique Manics album out there, completely in their own space on that one.

THB really is a flawless masterpiece so it has to be that, but Journal is a worthy successor and I absolutely love Truth (though both have tracks I could live without). Wish all their output could be as good as these three.

Went with THB obviosuly, but GT would be up there too, especially seeing as it has the best album art out of any of their albums. And This is my truth as it was the first album i heard....argh too many...ill go with THB just becuase i never seem to get tired of it

With how embarrased they get by lack of sales for Lifeblood and playing tracks live I wonder if they would be surprised that its actually 3rd fave in this poll. Even beating Nicky's fave Everything Must Go!

I love em all, every single one THB is a clear winner for me however nothing else can touch it not ever. But i love the fact that you can go back to GT or KYE or GATS and they sound really great if you've not listened to them for a while.

I'd love to know who you think has done a better job of trying to do THB, as far as i'm concerned there was nothing like it before or since and probably never will be.

To me Alice in Chains - Facelift hits the same area and does a better job.

The obvious one to state would be Nirvana - In Utero too. For some reason I also think Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Paralyze hits similar ground and I love that album.
