Who actually said there would be a Euro tour?

I mean like to a fan or on an interview? Sean mentioned America in an interview, didn't he?

I think the Euro tour was mentioned in radio interviews, and possibly by Sean in a (Dutch?) magazine interview, where he said they'd play in the Netherlands or Belgium, not too sure about that. It's all stuff that I've read here at some point, during the PFAYM promo.

The quote from the interview: Any plans for an American tour? "Yeah, definitely. We're looking at March/April next year. We're not gonna wait 10 more years to come see you guys and drive coast to coast! We loved it and got a lot of inspiration from our last trip to the States." I hope that means Canada, and specifically Toronto, as well!

I remember Nicky saying somewhere something about a proper promotional tour of PFYAM that would include Europe.

In one of those recent XFM interviews he said they'd be "cutting right back" on their touring in 2011, so the game's probably up.

I think all this was only going to happen if the album was big.

Probably ....but less touring doesn't necessarily mean they couldn't do a couple of dates somewhere. They need to get on a US festival bill.

Perhaps if the rumored Greatest Hits gets released here, they could tour later in the year, though? Maybe? or, y'know, I could just be in denial that they're not coming back |

It seems like they'd at least play New York and Los Angeles perhaps? They've just got to do a couple US dates if they're aiming for "mass communication" after all.

Sean also mentioned a European tour in an interview in Belgium.

I know plans change and stuff, but I almost wish they wouldn't 'announce' these things in interviews till they know they are happening...it just gets people's hopes up.

As much as I'd like to see them live again If Postcards isn't released in the States I can't see them coming over here to tour on an album available only as an import.
