No matter what anyone thinks of Bradfield's beard, it'll never be as bad as Wire's 2001 sideburns.

That beard is awesome. Needs more volume though. More growth James! Would make the Manics 30% cooler.

You don't think that hair up top isn't grey do you? Good on him for showing his age. Makes him cooler. JDB is grey as a badger, but the "luxury of one more dye" is keeping his youthful (ish) locks going

You can see a bit of silver in his head hair in one recent photo I think. Anyway, as a few people have said he looks well cool as always!

I still can't believe how bad and good at the same time it was back then... that was the first time you could see purely masculine Wire. in my humble opinion the bigger facial hair disaster on Wire's side was in 2005, during the Swansea gigs (the postponed ones, where he had something that is popularly called a beard, black eyeshadows and eyeliners, hair of the mixed colour, white jacket and skirt made of Welsh flag. or do I mix the white jacket with the pink jacket? now that was wrong.
