I just adore Enola/Alone. if I could sum up the whole feeling of EMG in one lyric it would be all I want to do is live//no matter how miserable it is.

I don't think SBFTGITS would've been a good single, but I feel I have to stand up for it as a very good *song*!

No surface all feeling, definitely. I love many of the other songs, but even so there really is no competition.

Small Black Flowers is gorgeous, but it was tough to choose between that and No Surface.

Elvis Impersonator for me, it's probably my favourite Manics song as well. I love the intro sounds and then guitar, love the groove, a great JDB growl leading to the solo, which is fantastic.

Further Away is a very close second, and third is Enola/Alone which would've been the better single out of the three.

"No Surface All Feeling" is one of those "Oh crap, I think I'm going to cry" songs. So I've chosen that, because writing songs that can move people is awesome. Brilliant song.
