Yes, an entire album built around someone else's music, lot's of guest singers - they could even have a song called "Running Out Of Fantasy"! It's what I wish for more than anything!

My heart is mostly owned by the Manics, but most of what isn't belongs to Grammatics, and there are few things I would love more than for the Manics to cover a Grammatics song. I realise hardly anyone has heard of Grammatics, so suggestions won't mean much - besides, I feel like the Manics could make a hell of a go out of pretty much any of their songs. There are many that would suit a full band version ('Stalinesque', 'Rosa Flood', 'Double Negative', etc etc etc) and several that would suit a JDB acoustic ('Cruel Tricks Of The Light', 'Broken Wing', 'Church Of The Great I Am'). And in fact, I think Nicky could do something special with 'KRUPT' or 'Time Capsules And The Greater Truth'. Oh, the very thought does strange things to my heart.

After my photomanipulations at the Seon thread, I'd really love to see them playing the Super Mario theme.

That would be brilliant, James loves Magazine anyway so that would really fit.

I love that song.

Ehhehe
Indeed it would.
The Yugoslavian Magazin were very famous in our parts, btw. I even remember them a little, from my early childhood.

Anything off "extremities" by killing joke! Always felt that album was very close in sound and style to the holy bible and wondered if it was an influence (seriously look up "age of greed" and tell me you don't hear it)

Maybe Body Count's The Winner Loses would be nice too. Can immagine that in the Manics' version, somehow.

They used to play cop killa before their gigs sometimes, who knows, perhaps they'd be up for it!
