Its pretty good - seating on the two upper levels then standing at the bottom, can make for a good atmosphere. By Edinburgh standards

Sound quality is good (better than the Corn Exchange). Atmosphere depends alot on the crowd and the band - ive been to both venues when the crowd have been very flat, and other times when they have been good. I would imagine it will be good for this though!

I think most venues pale in comparison to the Barrowlands. I've not enjoyed the Corn Exchange that much, if at all. Looking forward to something different from the capital.

Just found out it's the Edinburgh Marathon the same weekend as this gig, which might be why most the central hotels are stupidly expensive compared to my stay there a couple of months ago. They've really done well with clashing with other big events on this 2015 tour
