Motown Junk. One of my favorite tracks from FD compilation.

I consider Motown Junk to be GT era, and judging by the responses in the thread so far I thought we were discussing 'Turning Rebellion Into Money' tracks.
To be fair, Motown Junk and everything on New Art Riot are better than any of their earliest stuff. |

James said he made a song called 'Jackboot Jonny'.....in his typical modest way he played the song down saying it was terrible and it never surfaced but i'd give a right arm to hear it now!! And there was another called 'Hairdressers Chair' or something!!
Does Spectators of Suicide (Heavenly version) count?? i'll pick that one! |

James isn't a bad lyricist so it would be nice if Hairdresser's Chair eventually made it to a b-side or album track. Last edited by Automatik; 07-04-2015 at 23:08. |

i love James lyrics, i still hanker after another solo album to follow up TGW, happy that it still sounds fresh and criminally underrated and undiscovered to the mainstream after a decade but then thats a good thing i guess.
