They're both covers which use simple fonts and negative space. If I weren't mobile I'd pull up a hundred covers which use the same elements, it's hardly a ripoff.

Yeah, that's pretty much the only similarity I mentioned. Along with stating 'I don't see it as a rip off though' before I start getting accused of calling them copycats, when I haven't at all

Yeah I'm really not getting the rip off thing. However the Bowie influence is clear. They wouldn't have recorded at Hansa otherwise.

Okay maybe rip off was a bit strong, but there's definitely an element of tribute. I just don't like it when bands omit their names/logos from the cover.

Maybe with all these guest vocalists there's a point to not having MSP on the front.

Or maybe it looks better without it.

How is that in any way definite? It's one interpretation but the two images are almost entirely different. There's black text on a white background, as per 99% of all written text in human history.

Bowie's name is on his one, by the way. Another difference.

i assume the band's name will be somewhere. Sticker on the shrinkwrap? Not that anyone buys albums in shops anymore
