I'm getting a good feeling about this album, I have to say, with Cale and McCulloch and Duff on board I think it will be a SATT that can be taken really seriously.

Yes to Duff on guest bass. Yes to Cale. Draw breath and screw face up like watching a road accident for McCulloch.
Still two out of three! |

Yeah McCulloch is cool, I like a lot of Echo and the Bunnymen's stuff.
I guess maybe all the songs aren't complete yet then?

Who the fuck is Ian McCulloch? Some indie or alt rock style guy?

Oh no - if they play the song he's dueting on the tour, then James is going to give the 'First gig at the Colston Hall story' another run out.

Still, I'm rather impressed by Cale's inclusion regardless of how small his contribution(s) may be - that's insane! Certainly one of the greatest and most progressive musicians/composers of the modern era. How exciting! As for McCulloch, that's quite ace too. I'm not sure how well his voice has held up over the years, but in his prime, I think he had one of the greatest rock and roll voices ever. I'm sure those of you familiar with the Bunnymen agree that he always had great pipes. I look forward to hearing what comes of a duet between two great voices. Thanks for the info guys! Hopefully this isn't all a bunch of crap though. |

Seems to be genuine. It's up on the Wiki page for the album. Mac's voice isn't quite as powerful as in his youth but I still think he sounds good. Really excited about this! Will Ian join them on tour????? (Big ask I know but if I could fit in seeing him along with BSP as well that would be awesome!)
