You have to say though, it was on virtually every setlist between 2002 and 2009. Thank God it's been dropped!

A pity, but it means it's done as well as THB and better than LT and Lifeblood according to this http://www.chartstats.com/artistinfo.php?id=372

No no, you've got a point! Where the hell did the audience they got from SATT go? Did JFPL scare them off? Then why didn't PFAYM bring them back?
Three question marks in one post, I'm back to my old strength!

JFPL probably did scare them off or maybe PYFAYM is too good? I dont understand why SATT was as popular as it was...i mean great and everything but why Postcards is better. The NME must have a point ..rock/indie is out of favour at the mo' or the wrong single was released i guess

Maybe the fact haven't really appeared to a wide audience like they did in 2007 cos they appeared at just about every festival that summer and having a pretty popular song in YLAINE they were getting themselves out and about to get people to know about the new album, etc. Even though I love SKON I honestly can't see it doing anything as a single nor really pushing the album at all. They need to play one or two of the rocking songs at gigs, like Balconies and All We Make Is Entertainment instead of the slower string laden stuff.
I reckon the album has sold 60,000 now in the UK so it means that's gone silver. SATT went Gold around the time the 2nd single came out.

I don't see any need to look for excuses. Four weeks in the Top 40 is pretty good.

Why aren't they on many tv programmes?
Most bands with new albums get on something like Something for the Weekend, or something to open them up to a mass audience.
If you want mass communication, then why weren't they promoting on every show possible!

Yeah, for SATT they were on ALOT of TV programmes. Oh well, still good considering.

Yes it was, I said this before, it was on that Channel where you could vote to change the top 10 every day. We kept in the top 3 for weeks, I even remember giving my son £2 to vote 100 times as I had let him have a day off sick because of his 'bad cold'

they started the tour too early after the album's release. Its all well and good to promote before its out but its also good to be able to buy the album after seeing them on daybreak or whatever. People forget
