See you all tomorrow. I'm quite excited now, want to make a little trip of it with a big MSP bonus in the middle.

I'll be up for the big push in the morning and we'll all see each other later in Berlin for tea and cakes.

The very first Cornish person I heard that crap from was our window cleaner. He was complaining about 'incomers' in his Cornish home town. This was around 1980, and in my hometown in Lancashire, where he was living and working. He did not get the irony at all.

And this thread is going to be quite sad tomorrow, because along with the success stories there's inevitably going to be the sad stories of people who didn't get a ticket. (and I'll prob be one of them knowing my luck)

Sounds a little similar to a berk we had visit our office. He was mortified we call an area of the country, the black country and said it was very racist to do so. I then pointed out to him that it had been called that for years, was nothing to do with racism and that he came from a town called Blackburn!
