This thread has served to make me realise that I haven't listened to Manics b-sides in far too long, so I'm going to make a playlist and pay them more attention. In the meantime, the ones I can remember well and love are: Spectators Of Suicide (Heavenly version) Close My Eyes Prologue To History Mr Carbohydrate Sculpture Of Man Groundhog Days Never Want Again Socialist Serenade Valley Boy Horses Under Starlight. |

Faster/PCP definitely the best single, was pondering that the other day. I hate rating things in order, but some b-sides I love:
1) Comfort Comes (nearly good enough to go on HB) 2) Spectators Of Suicide (Heavenly) (easily better than GT version) 3) Prologue To History (one of the best songs of that era) 4) Bored Out Of My Mind (easily worthy of GT) 5) Litany (probably best of the era) 6) Strip It Down (Live) (how can it sound that much better live?) 7) Sculpture Of Man (amazing vocal, worth it for the wills, Harry line) 8) Love Torn Us Under (almost as good as the song it's rippping off) 9) Dying Breeds (best Nicky vocal) 10) Donkeys (recently got into it) I love Manics b-sides

I don't have Fear Of Motion or Little Trolls, since I've managed to collect the singles in cd format, are they actually that good? I'll get them one day, just in a few years when I'm richer maybe!

Fear Of Motion is great. Little Trolls is prehaps a more acquired taste but I like it!
