There's something very nice about the iTunes festival. The thing is on for a month in a great venue, all the shows are free, a lot of people who enter win something, and the iTunes sponsorship is really understated. It's in the name of the event and they give you a £5 iTunes voucher when you walk in - it's a really nice gesture.

Does anyone who has been before know how they distribute the tickets in terms of are they e-tickets or standard ones and are they linked to your name and you have to show ID or are they transferable?

I've applied for the lot, it's a great lineup. Last year I got to see Frank Turner who I'd never heard of and he was great!

I applied for Magnetic Man and Mogwai as well. The rest of the announced lineup doesn't do it for me.

I'd love to do that! Getting to London in the week a bit of a ballache for me though on top of it being expensive and all, so just applying for ones I really want to go to.

Only applied for Manics. I like Mogwai but not enough to travel to London for them, not arsed about any others.
