That was a disaster. He's had a few of them to be fair. I remember reading a couple of posts on here about how mortified people were at Isle Of Wight 2004 to see him turn up onstage with short hair, a beard and relatively sensible clothes. It's just not him.

Exactly! He's only 42! He looks older than my dad with a beard, and my dad is 14 years older.

I think he'd look about 50 without the beard, the beard does add to it though! Maybe it'd have been better if he'd saved the beard for a time he wasn't looking a bit.. leathery anyways. But all he realy needs is a mac and a hat and he'd look ike a man who'd been a north sea fisherman for decades.
