It's a horrible "sighing" voice typical of a lot of female singers these days that has no place on a Manics track.

That was my initial reaction as well, hope it's only that one song. I think the Manics are much better in selecting male duet partners, even though I'm glad we didn't get a Morrisey-vocal on 3Ways, it would feel completely like a tribute album then! *end of derailing rant*

They shouldn't bother with guest singers, because I feel it devalues an album. Collaborations should be done as separate projects, one off live things or maybe even as a standalone release.
