It took a little while, I think they do it manually.

i preordered from amazon so no deleted scene for me. but i can't wait to get the blu ray.

i saw this a few years back in the screening in new york, and it was unfinished back then (no cartoons and few edits and on) but i'm so excited to see it again, as if its the first time.

Amazon still haven't managed to prepare mine for dispatch So it looks like it will be Monday at the earliest before they post it. Probably won't arrive until Thursday.

Ah well I've waited this long a few more days won't kill me.

Just watched my Blu-ray, I really enjoyed it. I think it was interesting watching it now with a bit of distance between the SATT/JFPL era, because I think it's reasonable to feel like it's going hold up well in the future seeing as how some time has passed already.

I felt like it struck a very good balance between being intelligible to someone who knows very little about the band, telling (some of) their history, presenting (some of) the typical fans' views, whilst also remaining of interest to the likes of us with the interviews and practice sessions etc.

I guess if I say I thought it was worth the wait that's a reasonably large compliment! And so, it was.

Thanks to all involved in making the film (and also for putting it out on Blu-ray, which was well worth it for the parts that really shone in HD).

Just came back from a screening in Aberdeen. So here are my random thoughts:

Quite enjoyed it on the whole, a highly extraordinarily balance of broad strokes and inside jokes, somehow both a greatest hits and secret history (underdogs and yellow eyeshadow!).

The sound of Faster in a cinema!

I think we need an album made up purely James's vocalisations, a Symphony of Tourettes if you may.

Could have done with done with less fan narration of the history and more fan adoration. Lots of it was just incorrect eg. the band did not cancel the 1995 US publicity tour https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIuTV8xesjg. Felt like they're could have been a bit of fact checking. Maybe I'm just pedantic, I doubt most people would notice but it definitely took me out of it a bit.

Could have really done without the whole 'is Richey alive or dead' debate. Just felt a bit too easy and again disrespectful to his family and friends. I know the point is made in documentary later on but it seemed like making currency out of someone's misery. Maybe that wasn't the intention but its inclusion certainly didn't benefit No Manifesto as a whole.

Love how James's equipment kept fucking up whenever 'I'm just a patsy" was being played.

It nearly seemed as if Nicky actually liked Lifeblood!

Loved it from start to end. I thought it could have ended a little neater as it seemed a tad rushed. But it's awesome footage and seeing the band in such a light is wonderful, I couldn't believe I was watching it finally. My heart skipped a beat when I saw myself pop up on screen too haha! Thanks to the film crew, you did a great job!

The highlight form me is all the fanquotes shitting on Underdogs. That should have been the entire film.

I only saw the PPF videos last night, but was astonished by how young they looked - especially JDB. Seems much more recent than it is I suppose.

I remember reading on youtube a while back that if you order the DVD or Bluray from the official site you get a free digital download version too.
Is that the case? Would be nice to have to put on a device or two

No, I don't think so. You get a free bonus scene though.
